Current stable release: 0.1.0(Revolution)

New updates - April 26th, 2005 | posted by mike

Been a little while without an update, and for that I apologize.

We got caught up in a few other projects, but I'm happy to report that a new version of the Vandeventer Engine is in the works, completely rebuilt from the ground up.

In preparation for that, we will be releasing the current dev copy of the source code to SourceForge next week. I just need some time to audit the code and finish up some install docs.

Welcome - December 16th, 2002 | posted by mike

Welcome to the home of the Vandeventer Engine. The Vandeventer Engine is an open source, newspaper content management system, written PHP with a MySQL database backend.

The Vandeventer Engine software powers Michigan State University's independent, student run newspaper, The State News, the largest college newspaper in the United States.

Version 0.1.0 of the Vandeventer Engine will be available soon. Our current target release date is January 2nd 2003. Check back with this site for further updates.
